Job Overview
We are looking for a customer-centric and technically sound Service Advisor to join our team at Aadhi Maruti. As the primary point of contact between our customers and the workshop service team, you will be responsible for understanding customer vehicle concerns, diagnosing requirements, recommending optimal maintenance solutions, and ensuring an exceptional post-sales experience in line with Maruti Suzuki’s high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Consultation & Inspection: Greet customers warmly upon arrival, actively listen to their vehicle concerns, perform initial visual inspections/road tests, and open precise Job Cards.
Technical Estimation & Approvals: Provide accurate cost estimations, detail required repair work clearly, and obtain written/digital customer approvals before starting any service or remedial repairs.
Internal Coordination: Work closely with Floor Supervisors, Technicians, and the Parts Department to prioritize vehicle workflow and adhere strictly to committed delivery timelines.
Value-Added Service Promotion: Educate customers on recommended preventative maintenance packages, Maruti Suzuki value-added services, extended warranties, and genuine accessories.
Updates & Delivery: Proactively keep customers updated regarding their vehicle's status, handle final billing explanations, and execute a transparent vehicle delivery process.
Grievance Resolution: Handle customer complaints with empathy and efficiency, ensuring high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering, or a Graduate with relevant automotive experience.
Experience: 1 to 4 years of proven experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive workshop (Prior experience with a Maruti Suzuki authorized dealership is highly preferred). Freshers with strong automobile training may also be considered.
Technical Skills: Basic diagnostic understanding of passenger vehicle mechanisms, familiarity with dealer management software, and computer literacy.
Key Skills: Exceptional verbal communication (local language proficiency is a must), strong negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
Attributes: High attention to detail, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
