JD FOR SERVICE ADVISOR
Welcome customers and listen carefully to their service or repair concerns.
Inspect vehicles (with the customer present, if possible) to identify visible issues.
Explain recommended maintenance or repair jobs clearly, along with estimated costs and timelines.
Prepare accurate job cards, noting customer complaints, required services, and vehicle details.
Coordinate with workshop supervisors and technicians to assign and monitor jobs.
Keep customers informed about job status, additional work required, and cost changes.
Conduct final quality checks (with the technician) before delivery.
Review the final bill with the customer, explaining the work done and parts replaced.
Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction.
Promote service packages, extended warranties, and value-added products.
Maintain service records and customer communication logs.
