Job Description

Yash Engineering Solutions is seeking a proactive and safety-conscious Safety Engineer / Site Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety standards at project sites. The role involves regular site inspections, implementation of safety procedures, monitoring workforce safety, and maintaining safety-related documentation to create a safe and accident-free work environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Safety Inspection

• Conduct daily and weekly safety inspections at project sites.

• Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and report the same to site management.

• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and statutory safety regulations.

• Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, hot work, and electrical work.

2. Safety Implementation & Monitoring

• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.

• Implement safety procedures, work permits, and method statements.

• Stop unsafe work and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to maintain safe working practices.

3. Safety Documentation

• Prepare and maintain safety documents such as:

  • Daily safety inspection reports

  • Toolbox talk records

  • Incident and near-miss reports

  • Safety induction and training records

• Assist in audits and inspections by clients or statutory authorities.

4. Training & Awareness

• Conduct safety inductions for new workers and subcontractors.

• Organize toolbox talks and safety awareness programs.

• Promote safety culture among site teams.

5. Incident Management

• Assist in investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses.

• Prepare incident investigation reports and suggest corrective actions.

• Ensure timely reporting of incidents as per company guidelines.

Skills & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of safety rules, PPE, and construction/industrial safety standards.

• Ability to identify hazards and assess risks at site.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

• Willingness to work at different project locations.

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, email).

• It is a Full Time Technician job for candidates with 0 - 6 months of experience.
