Multiproduct Technician

The ideal candidate will ensure that every product meets Swiss Military’s high standards of quality, reliability, and performance through structured testing, process validation, and close coordination with vendors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Testing & Validation

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing protocols and SOPs for new and existing products.

• Conduct functional, performance, endurance, battery life, and reliability tests on all audio and mobile accessories.

• Perform Bluetooth connectivity, latency, range, charging efficiency, and sound performance evaluations using standard testing tools.

• Identify and document defects, performance gaps, and design issues; coordinate corrective actions with vendors and R&D teams.

• Approve products for mass production only after successful validation and compliance verification.

• Maintain detailed test reports, validation logs, and product approval documentation for all SKUs.

2. Vendor Coordination & Quality Management

• Collaborate with domestic and international vendors (OEMs/ODMs) to ensure adherence to product testing and quality requirements.

• Conduct vendor audits, sample evaluations, and pre-dispatch inspections to ensure product quality consistency.

• Share testing feedback and improvement reports with vendors and monitor corrective actions.

• Work closely with the procurement and sourcing teams to resolve quality issues promptly.

• Evaluate vendor performance based on product reliability, defect rate, delivery timelines, and responsiveness.

• Support vendor capability enhancement to align manufacturing partners with Swiss Military’s standards.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain detailed test data, inspection records, vendor evaluation sheets, and validation reports.

• Generate weekly and monthly testing summaries for management review.

• Ensure all testing SOPs, documentation, and quality checklists are current and properly followed.

• Maintain sample tracking logs for new developments, revalidations, and production approvals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in product testing and validation, preferably in consumer electronics / mobile accessories / audio products.

• Strong knowledge of Bluetooth, audio performance, battery testing, and power electronics.

• Hands-on experience with testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, audio analyzers, battery testers, etc.).

• Familiarity with BIS / CE / RoHS / reliability testing and certification processes.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets / quality documentation tools.

• Strong communication, vendor management, and coordination abilities.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Background

• Experience working with China-based or Indian OEM/ODM vendors.

• Prior exposure to audio testing (TWS, neckbands, soundbars, speakers, etc.).

• Knowledge of product certification, compliance, and validation lifecycle management.

Compensation

💰 Budget: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Fixed)
