Proficient in iOS software troubleshooting, restore, update, and recovery methods (DFU, Recovery mode, iTunes/Finder, 3uTools).
Knowledge of Apple’s diagnostic tools and third-party testing software.
Familiar with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safe handling practices.
Skilled in replacing key parts:
Battery
Display assembly (including touch and TrueTone calibration)
Camera (front & rear)
Charging port, speaker, mic
Back glass (laser or heating methods)
Ability to handle solder-free repairs confidently.
Intermediate-level board-level awareness (not full microsoldering, but should identify board faults & escalate to L3).
Perform accurate fault diagnosis using tools like multimeter, DC power supply, thermal camera, etc.
Ability to differentiate hardware vs software issues.
Identify water damage indicators and corrosion levels.
Knowledge of error codes during iTunes restore.
Comfortable using iTunes, Finder, 3uTools, iMazing, and similar diagnostic tools.
Knowledge of iCloud lock / activation lock policies (not bypassing, but awareness).
Skilled in performing backups, restores, and data migration for customers.
Ability to explain technical issues in simple, customer-friendly terms.
Honest communication about part originality and warranty.
Maintain professional service etiquette.
Knowledge of iPhone models from iPhone 6 to latest (Pro/Pro Max).
Awareness of Apple service standards & repair workflow.
Time management — ability to complete repairs within set turnaround times.
Team coordination — escalate board-level repairs to L3 technician.
