The Fern Residency, Dadar is looking for a skilled and responsible Hotel Technician to join our team.
We are looking for a skilled Hotel Technician for our Engineering Department. Candidate should have basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, AC, and general maintenance work. Hotel experience preferred.
Hotel Technician / Maintenance Technician
Department: Engineering / Maintenance
Reporting To: Chief Engineer / Engineering Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
Carry out daily maintenance and repair work in guest rooms and public areas.
Attend guest complaints related to electrical, plumbing, AC, TV, lighting, and fixtures.
Maintain HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and hotel equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance as per hotel SOP.
Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Check DG set, pumps, boilers, water systems, and fire safety equipment.
Coordinate with housekeeping and front office for room maintenance issues.
Maintain maintenance logs and records.
Follow safety procedures and hotel policies.
Support emergency repair work whenever required.
Skills Required
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and air-conditioning.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and teamwork.
Ability to work in shifts.
Knowledge of hotel maintenance SOPs.
Qualification
PWD License required / ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration & AC.
Experience in hotel maintenance preferred.
Experience
1–3 years' experience in hotel engineering or maintenance department preferred.
