We are looking for a Pharma Maintenance and Utility Engineer to join our team at Company Name to ensure the optimal performance, repair, and maintenance of critical pharmaceutical systems and equipment. The role involves monitoring utility systems, diagnosing complex faults, and performing troubleshooting to uphold strict quality and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities:
Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on critical equipment like HVAC, purified water systems (PW/WFI), autoclaves, vial washers, and process machinery to ensure GMP compliance.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), engineering drawings, and equipment manuals, coordinating with Validation and Quality departments.
Document all maintenance activities accurately in logbooks and the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and assist in writing and revising SOPs.
Source GMP-compliant spare parts, negotiate with qualified suppliers, and provide detailed cost estimates for maintenance work orders.
Stay updated on cGMP guidelines, industry best practices, and technological advancements by attending relevant training and workshops.
Coordinate maintenance tasks efficiently with production schedules to minimize downtime while ensuring product quality and safety.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering and Experience Range in a pharmaceutical or other GMP-regulated environment.
Applicants should be able to multitask in a fast-paced setting, explain technical problems and solutions clearly to cross-functional teams, and strictly follow GxP health & safety regulations. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with a CMMS are distinct advantages.
