Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible SCADA Operator to monitor, control, and maintain industrial processes using SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems. The ideal candidate should be a Diploma graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field with basic technical knowledge and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor plant operations through SCADA systems in real-time.
2. Identify, analyze, and respond to system alarms and faults
3. Operate and control equipment remotely via SCADA interface
4. Maintain accurate logs and records of system performance and incidents
5. Coordinate with maintenance and field teams during breakdowns or abnormalities
6. Ensure safe and efficient operation of plant processes
7. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
8. Assist in basic troubleshooting of electrical/instrumentation issues
9. Generate reports on system performance and downtime
Required Qualifications:
1. Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation /
2. Automation or related field
3. Basic understanding of industrial systems and control panels
4. Familiarity with computers and monitoring software
Preferred Skills:
1. Basic knowledge of SCADA systems (training can be provided)
2. Understanding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) basics
3. Good observation and analytical skills
4. Ability to work in shifts (including night shifts)
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills
