Maintenance Technician

Designation       :             Engineer – Maintenance CNC Routing Machine

Reports To         :             Maintenance Manager – SMC Section

Position Overview:

We need a proficient CNC Routing Machine Maintenance Person to oversee the upkeep and repair of our CNC routing machines in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure the machines operate smoothly, conduct preventive maintenance, and address technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

1.         Perform preventive maintenance tasks on CNC routing machines to ensure optimal performance.

2.         Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on CNC machines.

3.         Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and implement solutions.

4.         Calibrate and align machine components to maintain accuracy and quality of output.

5.         Order and maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables for CNC machines.

6.         Collaborate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to production.

7.         Document maintenance activities, repairs, and machine performance for record-keeping purposes.

Qualifications and Skills:

1.       Technical diploma or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical engineering.

2.       Proven experience in CNC machine maintenance and repair.

3.       Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

4.       Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

5.       Knowledge of preventive maintenance best practices.

6.       Excellent organizational and communication skills.

7.       Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
