Maintenance Technician

ob Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of all laundry machinery and utility equipment to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of laundry machines such as washer extractors, dryers, flatwork ironers, presses, and folding machines.

• Maintain utilities such as boilers, air compressors, water softeners, pumps, and steam lines.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in machines.

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and record operational parameters.

• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures during maintenance work.

• Coordinate with operations for machine downtime scheduling.

• Maintain maintenance logs, spare parts usage, and tool inventory.

• Support in implementing preventive maintenance programs to reduce breakdowns.

• Report recurring faults and suggest improvements for efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.

• 2–5 years of experience in industrial laundry / hospitality / manufacturing setup.

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

• Ability to read machine manuals and technical drawings.
