The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of all laundry machinery and utility equipment to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient plant operations.
Perform routine maintenance and repair of laundry machines such as washer extractors, dryers, flatwork ironers, presses, and folding machines.
Maintain utilities such as boilers, air compressors, water softeners, pumps, and steam lines.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in machines.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and record operational parameters.
Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures during maintenance work.
Coordinate with operations for machine downtime scheduling.
Maintain maintenance logs, spare parts usage, and tool inventory.
Support in implementing preventive maintenance programs to reduce breakdowns.
Report recurring faults and suggest improvements for efficiency and reliability.
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
2–5 years of experience in industrial laundry / hospitality / manufacturing setup.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read machine manuals and technical drawings.
