Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and repair of building infrastructure, electrical systems, plumbing, and office equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all facility-related systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of building infrastructure and office facilities.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, switches, sockets, fans, lights, and distribution boards.

• Carry out plumbing work including repair of taps, pipelines, water tanks, washrooms, drainage systems, and leakages.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and fixtures in compliance with safety standards.

• Maintain office appliances such as computers, printers, scanners, UPS systems, Wi-Fi routers, CCTV cameras, biometric devices, and networking equipment.

• Perform basic computer hardware and software troubleshooting.

• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance work when required.

• Conduct preventive maintenance of all office equipment and maintain maintenance logs.

• Monitor power backup systems (UPS/Inverter/Generator) and ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and electrical regulations.

• Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, electrical components, and spare parts.

• Assist in setting up office furniture, workstations, electrical connections, and IT equipment.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and fault diagnosis.

• Practical experience in plumbing installation and repairs.

• Basic computer hardware, networking, and printer troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of CCTV installation and maintenance is preferred.

• Familiarity with power tools, electrical testing instruments, and maintenance equipment.

• Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices.

• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• It is a Full Time Technician job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
