Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a skilled Technician to carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and systems.

• Attend breakdown calls and restore equipment within the defined timelines.

• Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential issues before failure.

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using appropriate tools and techniques.

• Replace defective components and ensure proper functioning of equipment.

• Maintain daily maintenance logs, service reports, and checklists.

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.

• Coordinate with the Site Supervisor for work planning and material requirements.

• Maintain housekeeping of work areas, tools, and equipment.

• Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities whenever required.

• Report recurring issues and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Fitter, Electronics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or any relevant technical trade.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or engineering services.

• Experience in Facilities Management, Airports, Commercial Buildings, Industrial Plants, Manufacturing, or Engineering Services is preferred.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.

• Basic understanding of safety procedures and work permits.

• Ability to read basic technical drawings, manuals, and checklists.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.

• It is a Full Time Technician job for candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience.
