The Technician shall undertake the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Utility Equipment’s & Infrastructure as per agreed SLA and KPI. The scope of work will include following
End to End operation and maintenance of utility equipment and infrastructure and control systems during operations.
Check voltage, current, and load distribution to prevent overloads.
Ensure clean electrical components to avoid breakdowns.
Repair or replace defective wiring, switches, relays, and sensors.
Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards during operations.
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before maintenance.
Maintain compliance with statutory regulations and company SOPs.
Maintain tracker of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)/ Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contracts (CAMC), for DG, SMPS,SMPS BB, AC, PAC, AVR,Transformer, UPS,UPS BB and FAS to ensure the deliverables under such Contracts.
Monthly MIS for Power consumption,Monitor energy efficiency and suggest improvements.
Operation and Maintenance support for the Asset Installed at Site: DG, SMPS, Battery Bank AC, PAC, AVR, UPS and FAS.
Supervision of the OEM PM /CM Actvities on each Infra Equipment installed at site.
Submission of the FSR Report for PM/CM Activities of each Equipment.
Maintaining 100% Accurate list of Assets Installed at Sites
Maintain list of all spare parts and consumables.
Maintaining records of Spares Entry & exiting in the Site
Support for replacement of End of Life (EOL) Assets as per plan and instruction from the Team lead. i.e H&H ,Upgrade.
Support for EB Bill Collection and Demand Draft/Cheque submission in case required.
Supervise and ensure implementation of the work orders issued by the customer for R&M Activities at site.
Diesel filling as per the requirement at site. This includes diesel pickup from nearest petrol pump filling at site
Maintaining Diesel Consumption record with proof.
Visual Inspection and reporting to TL on a periodic basis for any missing or loosened hardware, corrosion, erosion of foundation, grounding, Theft instances,Tower grounding and any other abnormalities.
Respond to power failures or electrical emergencies promptly.
Basic Criteria for Technician Appointment:
Good Knowledge about O&M of Infra equipment’s like SMPS, BB, Aircon, UPS, DG, AVR etc.
Able to carry out L1 trouble shooting, diagnosis and fault resolution whether on own or from guidance from OEM.
Able to read, write and speak English & Local language.
Skill
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems (motors, MCC panels, VFDs).
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
Familiarity with PLCs and automation (if applicable).
Strong troubleshooting and safety awareness.
