Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team responsible for polymer processing equipment including extruders, injection molding machines, blow molding machines, mixers, and dryers.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and availability.

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation failures affecting polymer machinery.

• Collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve equipment-related production issues impacting product quality and plant efficiency.

• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and procurement activities to ensure timely availability of critical components.

• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards during all maintenance operations.

• Lead equipment installation, commissioning, and validation of new polymer processing machinery.

• Drive continuous improvement projects such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Lean Manufacturing, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).

• Prepare and present detailed maintenance reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to senior management.

• Mentor and train maintenance staff to develop technical skills and promote best practices in equipment maintenance.
