Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine Maintenance: Performing scheduled maintenance procedures on equipment, machinery, and building systems.

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and other system issues and performing necessary repairs.

• Equipment Installation: Installing new machinery and equipment as needed.

• System Monitoring: Monitoring and controlling building systems like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.

• Record Keeping: Maintaining records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

• Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations.

• Emergency Response: Responding to emergency maintenance requests.

• Collaboration: Working with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities.

• Inventory Management: Maintaining an inventory of spare parts and tools. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other relevant systems. 

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues. 

• Manual Dexterity: Skill in using hand tools and other equipment. 

• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. 

• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks, prioritize work, and maintain records. 

• Physical Condition: Good physical condition and stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and working in various environments. 

• Education: Diploma , HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a related field.
