A diploma / ITI with 3+ years of experience as a fitter.
Adequate knowledge of system structures and how to troubleshoot systems by utilizing the knowledge of how the system was designed to perform.
Teamwork, as a mechanical fitter may be required to collaborate with other fitters / Electrician on larger planned work.
Hands on experience with workshop equipment such as Conveyor, Gear Box, Hoist, Lifting Tackles. Strong hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge is essential.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills to work with multi-dimensional team.
Familiarity with the use of Jigs, Fixture, cranes, etc.
