The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems within a manufacturing or industrial plant. This role involves performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plant equipment, including conveyor systems, boilers, HVAC systems, and production machinery, to prevent unexpected breakdowns. Himalayas
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues; repair or replace defective components such as motors, valves, pumps, and control systems. Limble CMMS
Equipment Installation: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory of spare parts.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance staff, engineers, and production personnel to coordinate maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred. HRBLADE

Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals; familiarity with PLC systems and CMMS software is a plus.
