Maintenance Technician

Job description

Carry out regular preventive and breakdown maintenance of all machinery and utilities.

Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules for plant and machinery.

Maintain records of maintenance activities and breakdowns.

Ensure availability of critical spares by coordinating with the purchase department.

Supervise maintenance staff and contractors for execution of jobs.

Monitor and control maintenance costs and budgets.

Ensure compliance with safety standards during maintenance activities.

Co-ordinate with the production team to minimize downtime.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to maintenance.

Ensure the smooth functioning of plant utilities like compressors, DG sets, chillers, etc.

Identify areas for improvement and implement modifications for better efficiency.
