Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) with ITI qualification and 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience. The role involves ensuring smooth functioning of machinery, attending to breakdowns, and supporting preventive maintenance activities to ensure minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance of mechanical machines and equipment.

• Attend and resolve mechanical breakdowns promptly.

• Carry out installation and testing of new equipment under guidance.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Assist in troubleshooting issues in mechanical systems like motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, etc.

• Keep maintenance logs and report any critical issues to the supervisor.

• Follow safety standards and company procedures during maintenance work.

• Support in inventory management of spare parts and tools.

Requirements:

• ITI in Mechanical / Fitter Trade (must be completed).

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance in manufacturing / industrial setup.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and machines.

• Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings.

• Willing to work in shifts (if required).

• Team player with problem-solving skills.
