Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Managing and mentoring teams of lift erectors and technicians, providing guidance and training on installation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
Project Management:
Overseeing elevator installation projects, coordinating with contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Safety Compliance:
Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with relevant safety regulations and standards, conducting inspections and safety checks.
Technical Expertise:
Providing technical guidance and support for complex elevator issues, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, and ensuring systems operate efficiently.
Customer Relations:
Maintaining positive relationships with clients, communicating effectively regarding project timelines and maintenance schedules.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including maintenance reports and safety documentation.
Quality Assurance:
Ensuring the quality of installations and repairs meets company and industry standards.
Budget Management:
Overseeing project budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven Experience:
Extensive experience in lift installation, maintenance, and repair, including a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Leadership Skills:
Ability to lead and motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and provide constructive feedback.
Technical Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of elevator systems, including hydraulic, traction, and other types of lifts.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Safety Awareness:
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the elevator industry.
