Job Summary:
The Lift Installation Engineer is responsible for the complete installation of elevator systems at customer sites. This includes reading technical drawings, assembling mechanical and electrical components, ensuring safety compliance, and conducting initial testing for handover to the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Install elevators (lifts) as per project specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Align guide rails, fit motors, cabins, counterweights, and safety mechanisms.
Perform electrical connections of control panels and drives.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures.
Conduct pre-commissioning checks and assist in final testing.
Maintain installation records, reports, and documentation.
Report issues or delays to project management in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering .
0–3 years of experience in lift installation (freshers can be considered for junior roles).
Strong knowledge of lift components and installation techniques.
Familiarity with safety regulations like IS 14665 or EN 81 standards.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
