Lift/Elevator Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance and safety inspections

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults

• Replace or repair defective components (e.g., motors, cables, control panels)

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations

• Maintain detailed service and repair records

• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and call-outs

Experience:

• [2–5] years of relevant experience in lift installation and maintenance

Working Conditions:

• May involve working on weekends, holidays, or in shifts

• On-call duties for emergency breakdowns

Skills:

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

• Good understanding of safety and compliance standards

• Basic knowledge of PLCs and control systems (optional but advantageous)

• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces

• Good communication and documentation skills
