Laboratory Engineer Key Responsibilities Independently manage laboratory testing activities as per UL, IEC, IS, EN, and other applicable standards. Testing exposure as per IEC 62368, 60601, 61010, IS 13252 and IS 616 is an added advantage. Exposure in BIS CRS (Compulsory Registration Scheme) testing Review customer requirements, prepare test data sheet and plans, execute tests, and issue technical reports. Own laboratory operations including equipment utilization, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. Coordinate project schedules and ensure on-time completion of testing programs. Maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, laboratory procedures, and safety requirements. Support accreditation audits, ILC, proficiency testing, and quality initiatives. Provide technical support and project updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Drive productivity, quality, utilization and turnaround time improvements. Ensure compliance with 5S practices, laboratory housekeeping, visual workplace standards, and EHS requirements. Conduct periodic 5S audits and implement corrective actions. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related discipline. Experience: 3-5 Years Preferred Skills: Strong knowledge of product safety and compliance testing, IEC/UL/IS standards, automated test systems, troubleshooting, planning, communication, and customer management.
