Job Description: ITI Services & Maintenance Technician – Electric Moped / Electric 2-Wheeler Job Summary The ITI EV Services & Maintenance Technician is responsible for servicing, diagnosing issues, and performing maintenance/repair work on electric mopeds and electric 2-wheeler scooters. The technician ensures optimal performance, safety, and reliability of the vehicles by conducting repairs on mechanical, electrical, and battery systems Key Responsibilities 1. Vehicle Inspection & Diagnostics - Perform routine servicing of electric scooter along with inspecting battery condition, connectors, wiring harness, and controllers. 2. Electrical & Mechanical Repairs - Repair, replace or troubleshoot components such as motors, controllers, chargers, batteries, brakes, suspension, and electrical components. 3. Preventive Maintenance - Perform periodic maintenance as per OEM schedules. 4. Customer Support & Field Service - Attend customer complaints and provide on-site service when needed. 5. Documentation & Reporting - Maintain service records, job cards, checklists, and repair reports. Skills & Competencies Required  Strong knowledge of electric 2-wheeler components (battery, motor, controller, sensors).  Understanding of basic electrical concepts (voltage, current, continuity, polarity).  Ability to use multimeters, diagnostic tools, and service applications.  Knowledge of mechanical parts, brakes, suspension, and frame assembly.  Good communication and customer interaction skills.  Problem-solving ability and quick diagnosis skills.  Attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset.  Ability to work independently. Qualification & Requirements:  ITI in Electronics / MMV / EV Technician.  Diploma candidates may also apply.  Basic computer and mobile app usage skills.  Physically fit to handle tools and parts.  Willingness to travel for field repairs.  Experience in servicing electric scooters is an added advantage.
