JD – Field Service Technician The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of smart locks and related devices. The role requires technical expertise in welding, grinding, wiring, and electrical components, along with strong customer service skills. The position demands extensive travel to client sites and a valid driving license.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain smart lock systems at various client locations.
• Perform welding, grinding, and drilling work when required for installations.
• Handle wiring, electrical connections, and related troubleshooting.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Provide on-site training to customers on product usage.
• Coordinate with the operations team for scheduling and reporting.
• Follow company safety procedures and standards during all tasks.
Requirements • Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in technical servicing, welding, or electrical installation (freshers with relevant skills may also apply).
• Skills:
o Knowledge of welding, grinding, drilling, and basic fabrication work.
o Understanding of electrical components and wiring.
o Ability to read technical diagrams/manuals.
o Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
