ITI Technician

Job Description:

We are hiring Smart Meter Installation Technicians to install, replace, and maintain electricity smart meters at customer premises. The role involves fieldwork, coordination with utility teams, and ensuring proper documentation and reporting of each installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure single-phase and three-phase smart meters.

• Remove old meters safely and replace them with new smart meters.

• Ensure accurate meter readings and testing after installation.

• Handle customer interactions professionally during site visits.

• Maintain installation reports and upload data using a mobile app.

• Follow all safety guidelines and company protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 10th Pass / ITI / Diploma (Electrical preferred).

• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and connections.

• Prior experience in meter installation or electrical work is an advantage.

• Ability to use smartphones for reporting and tracking work.

• Physically fit and willing to work in the field.
