Install and configure smart electricity meters at customer premises as per utility/company guidelines.
Replace faulty meters and perform basic troubleshooting of electrical connections.
Conduct wiring checks and ensure proper meter functioning before handover.
Maintain accurate installation records, reports, and documentation.
Coordinate with supervisors, field engineers, and client representatives for smooth execution.
Educate customers on meter usage, safety, and benefits of smart metering.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
Report daily activities, issues, and progress to the project supervisor.
Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
Experience: 0–3 years in meter installation, electrical maintenance, or field service.
Skills:
Knowledge of electrical wiring and connections.
Ability to handle tools and testing equipment.
Basic understanding of smart meters and communication protocols (preferred).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
Good communication and customer handling skills.
Other:
Willingness to travel extensively within assigned region.
Physically fit to handle fieldwork.
Valid two-wheeler driving license (preferred).
