Position: ITI Fresher – Machine Operator

Department: Production

Location: Pirangut, Pune

Job Summary:

We are looking for ITI Fresers to work as Machine Operators in the Production Department. The candidate will be responsible for operating production machines such as gear cutting, grinding, and other related machines as per work instructions and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machines such as:

  • Gear Cutting Machines

  • Gear Hobbing Machines

  • Grinding Machines

  • Threading Machines

  • Drilling / Milling Machines (if required)

• Follow production plan and supervisor instructions.

• Load and unload components safely.

• Set basic job parameters as instructed by senior operator/supervisor.

• Ensure machine is running smoothly during shift.

• Maintain production as per target quantity.

• Perform basic in-process inspection using measuring instruments like:

  • Vernier Caliper

  • Micrometer

  • Dial Gauge

  • Plug Gauge

• Maintain cleanliness of machine and work area.

• Follow 5S practices on shop floor.

• Report machine breakdowns or abnormalities immediately to supervisor.

• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.

• Avoid material damage and handle components carefully.

Eligibility Criteria:

• ITI (Fitter / Turner / Machinist / Grinder / Relevant Trade)

• Fresher candidates can apply.

• Basic knowledge of production machines preferred.

• Willingness to work in shifts.

Skills Required:

• Basic understanding of mechanical drawings.

• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments.

• Discipline and willingness to learn.

• Ability to follow instructions.

• It is a Full Time Technician job for candidates with Freshers.
