ITI Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable ITI Electronics Technician with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments, supporting technical staff during experimental work, and ensuring all lab operations are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments (e.g., pH meters, balances, centrifuges, etc.).

• Support scientists and lab staff in conducting experiments and routine tests.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the laboratory.

• Handle minor repairs and coordinate with service engineers for major equipment issues.

• Maintain records of equipment usage, calibration logs, and inventory of lab consumables.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

• Assist in the disposal of chemical and biological waste as per safety norms.

Skills & Competencies:

• Technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• ITI (Laboratory Assistant / Electrical / Instrumentation or relevant trade).

• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience in pharma, chemicals, R&D, or related sectors.

• Sound understanding of laboratory operations and equipment handling.

• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team

• Good communication and organizational skills

• Familiarity with MS Office is a plus
