Job Description: IT Technician (ITI / Diploma)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled IT Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT hardware and basic network systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical knowledge and a willingness to work on-site or in the field as required.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and peripherals
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance
Assist in setting up LAN, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment
Coordinate with senior engineers for complex technical issues
Maintain records of service reports and inventory
Provide on-site and remote technical support when required

Required Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in IT / Computer Hardware / Electronics / Electrical or related field
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems
Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, and basic troubleshooting tools

Skills & Competencies

Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Basic understanding of LAN/WAN and hardware components
Ability to work independently and in a team
Willingness to travel for on-site support (if required)

Experience

Freshers are welcome
Prior technical or field experience will be an added advantage
