Job Description: IT Technician (ITI / Diploma)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled IT Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT hardware and basic network systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical knowledge and a willingness to work on-site or in the field as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and peripherals

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues

• Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance

• Assist in setting up LAN, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment

• Coordinate with senior engineers for complex technical issues

• Maintain records of service reports and inventory

• Provide on-site and remote technical support when required

Required Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in IT / Computer Hardware / Electronics / Electrical or related field

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems

• Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, and basic troubleshooting tools

Skills & Competencies

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

• Basic understanding of LAN/WAN and hardware components

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Willingness to travel for on-site support (if required)

Experience

• Freshers are welcome

• Prior technical or field experience will be an added advantage
