Key Responsibilities
Diagnose laptop hardware problems using standard diagnostic tools and procedures.
Troubleshoot laptops for no power, no display, charging, booting, overheating, battery, keyboard, touchpad, audio, USB, Wi-Fi and other hardware issues.
Identify faulty motherboard/PCB or hardware cards based on symptoms and test results.
Perform card-level replacement and repair of defective motherboards, daughter boards, DC-in boards, USB boards, display boards and other replaceable modules.
Replace defective laptop hardware assemblies
Check connectors, cables, sockets and physical PCB damage.
Follow laptop service manuals, technical guides and troubleshooting procedures.
Perform laptop dismantling, assembly and reassembly safely and correctly.
Conduct complete functional testing after repair.
Maintain repair records, fault descriptions and replaced-part details.
Ensure repaired laptops meet quality and turnaround-time requirements.
