1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to carry out the installation of air-conditioning systems, including VRF/VRV systems, split ACs, cassette units, ductable units, and associated piping and drainage systems. The candidate must ensure proper installation as per approved drawings, project specifications, and site instructions.

2. Key Responsibilities

1. Install indoor and outdoor AC units as per approved HVAC drawings.

2. Carry out copper refrigerant piping, pipe routing, insulation, and drain piping installation.

3. Install wall-mounted, cassette, ceiling-mounted ductable, and VRF/VRV air-conditioning units.

4. Perform copper pipe cutting, flaring, brazing, pressure testing, and leak testing as applicable.

5. Carry out vacuuming and assist with refrigerant charging as per manufacturer guidelines.

6. Install drain pipes with proper slope to ensure smooth water drainage.

7. Install equipment supports, brackets, hangers, and mounting accessories.

8. Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, civil contractors, and HVAC site supervisors.

9. Follow approved layouts and report site obstructions or drawing discrepancies to the supervisor.

10. Check connections, insulation, drainage, and installation quality before handing over the work.

11. Assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of installed AC systems.

12. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials properly at the site.

13. Follow site safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

14. Complete assigned installation work within the project schedule and minimize material wastage
3. Required Qualifications & Skills

- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is preferred.

- 1–3 years of experience in HVAC installation.

- Practical knowledge of copper piping, brazing, insulation, drainage, and AC unit installation.

- Basic understanding of HVAC drawings and installation procedures.

- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and safe refrigerant handling.

- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from site engineers.

- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely completion of installation work.

- Quality of piping, insulation, and equipment installation.

- Minimum leakage, drainage issues, and installation defects.

- Compliance with safety standards.

- Efficient use of materials and tools.

- Coordination with the site team and reduction of rework.

5. Reporting To

HVAC Site Supervisor / Installation Engineer / Project Manager
