Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Game Technician to handle the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment across our Arcade, Bowling, Soft Play, and Restaurant operations.

The technician will ensure all machines and equipment are safe, functional, and available for customers with minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Arcade Games

• Troubleshoot and repair arcade gaming machines.

• Check gaming controls, buttons, joysticks, displays, sensors, wiring, and power supply.

• Handle PCB, SMPS, motors, sensors, switches, and basic electronic components.

• Attend machine breakdowns and restore machines quickly.

• Carry out regular preventive maintenance.

Bowling

• Maintain and troubleshoot bowling machines and related equipment.

• Check pinsetter/pinspotter, ball return system, scoring system, sensors, and lane equipment.

• Identify mechanical and electrical issues.

• Perform regular cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and preventive maintenance.

• Coordinate with external vendors for major bowling equipment repairs when required.

Soft Play

• Inspect soft-play equipment regularly for safety and damage.

• Check electrical equipment, lighting, sensors, and related installations.

• Report and rectify technical/safety issues immediately.

• Ensure all equipment is safe for children and customers.

Restaurant

• Handle basic electrical and equipment maintenance.

• Troubleshoot kitchen equipment, exhaust systems, refrigerators/freezers, pumps, lighting, and other electrical/mechanical equipment.

• Attend breakdowns and coordinate with external service providers when required.

• Maintain proper records of repairs and servicing.

General Technical Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspection of all technical equipment.

• Maintain Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS).

• Maintain breakdown and repair records.

• Identify recurring technical problems and recommend solutions.

• Maintain required tools, spare parts, and technical materials.

• Follow electrical and workplace safety procedures.

• Ensure machines are properly switched off and secured after operations.

• Coordinate with Operations, Housekeeping, Restaurant, and Management teams.

• Support installation and commissioning of new machines/equipment.

• Minimize machine downtime and ensure smooth customer operations.

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related technical field preferred.

• Relevant hands-on experience in gaming, amusement parks, bowling, hospitality, mall, or entertainment industry will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

• Practical and hands-on technician.

• Able to diagnose problems independently.

• Willing to work in a customer-facing entertainment environment.

• Comfortable working on weekends/holidays as per business requirements.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Responsible for maintaining safety standards at all times.
