Key Responsibilities & Duties

System Monitoring: Continuously monitor server uptime, network traffic, and performance metrics (e.g., latency) using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or PRTG.
Physical Maintenance: Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (servers, racks, cabling) and manage peripheral equipment.
Environmental Monitoring: Check server room temperature, humidity, and power backup (UPS/Generators) to ensure compliance with ASHRAE standards.
Incident Management: Identify, log, and escalate technical issues to senior IT staff, documenting troubleshooting steps.
Security Control: Manage physical access to the server room, ensuring only authorized personnel enter and maintaining security logs.
Backup & Data Security: Perform daily data backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Reporting: Generate reports on daily system activity, maintenance tasks, and incident reports for IT management
