JOB OPENING – FIRE & SAFETY SITE MANAGER
Position: Fire & Safety Site Manager
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on Experience)
Incentive: 5% of the Net Project Value upon Successful Completion of the Project
Job Location: On-Site
Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (Every Saturday working till 3:00 PM)
Job Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the complete execution of Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm System projects at site.
Plan daily site activities and ensure work is completed as per project schedule.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, PMC, and other contractors.
Ensure installation of Fire Fighting Systems as per approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
Supervise installation of Hydrant Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Pumps, Fire Alarm Systems, PA Systems, and associated firefighting equipment.
Monitor material requirements and coordinate timely procurement and delivery to the site.
Verify work quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
Maintain daily progress reports, labour attendance, and site documentation.
Conduct regular inspections and resolve technical issues during execution.
Attend client meetings, site inspections, and project review meetings.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, and final handover of the Fire Protection System.
Ensure all work complies with the National Building Code (NBC), local Fire Authority requirements, and relevant Indian Standards.
Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure all safety procedures are followed on site.
Complete projects within the committed timeline while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Authority & Responsibilities
The Fire & Safety Site Manager shall have complete authority to identify, evaluate, and onboard his own labour contractor team for the execution of company projects.
The selected labour contractor/team must be capable of executing Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm System installation works while maintaining the company's quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
The Site Manager shall be fully responsible for:
Selecting and managing labour contractors.
Supervising labour productivity and workmanship.
Ensuring adequate manpower availability throughout the project.
Monitoring labour discipline and safety compliance.
Coordinating site execution with all stakeholders.
Completing the project within the agreed timeline and quality standards.
Note: The incentive of 5% of the Net Project Value shall be payable only upon the successful completion of the project, subject to management approval, satisfactory quality of work, timely execution, and successful handover to the client.
Required Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm System project execution.
Strong knowledge of Fire Hydrant Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Pumps, and related firefighting equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Excellent project planning and execution abilities.
Strong labour management and contractor coordination skills.
Knowledge of BOQ preparation, material estimation, and project scheduling.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
