We are looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Technician responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with fire detection systems and a strong understanding of safety standards and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems including:
Smoke detectors
Heat detectors
Manual call points (MCP)
Hooters / sounders
Control panels
Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of fire alarm systems.
Troubleshoot faults and repair fire alarm panels, wiring, and devices.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and system schematics.
Ensure systems comply with NFPA / NBC / local fire safety norms.
Coordinate with site engineers, safety officers, and clients during installation and handover.
Prepare testing, commissioning, and service reports.
Attend breakdown calls and provide timely resolutions.
Maintain tools, equipment, and safety practices at the site.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm Installation & Commissioning
Experience with conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
Basic understanding of electrical wiring and control panels
Familiarity with fire safety standards and regulations
Ability to work independently at project sites
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
