Job Summary

We are looking for a Laptop Field Engineer to provide onsite technical support for Lenovo laptops and desktops at customer locations. The candidate should have hands-on experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for Lenovo laptops, desktops, and peripherals.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.

• Replace faulty laptop components such as RAM, HDD/SSD, keyboards, batteries, displays, adapters, and motherboards (as per SOP).

• Install and configure Windows operating systems, drivers, and applications.

• Perform preventive maintenance and health checks.

• Coordinate with customers and provide timely issue resolution within SLA.

• Update service reports, call closures, and documentation after each visit.

• Escalate unresolved issues to the respective support teams.

• Ensure compliance with company and client processes.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware troubleshooting.

• Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 installation and configuration.

• Knowledge of BIOS, device drivers, and hardware diagnostics.

• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP).

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Ability to work independently in a field support environment.

• Experience: 1–3 years in Laptop/Desktop Field Support.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience supporting Lenovo devices.

• Willingness to travel across the assigned location.

• Two-wheeler with a valid driving license is preferred.

• Immediate joiners will be given preference.

• It is a Full Time Technician job for candidates with 6 months - 5 years of experience.
