Evaluation Engineer/ Car Evaluator

We are looking for a Evaluation Engineer/ Car Evaluator to join our team at Cars24 Services Private Limited to repair, install, replace, and service different systems and equipment like heavy machinery, home appliances like TVs, and others. The role involves monitoring & servicing systems, diagnosing problems, and troubleshooting equipment, etc. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹20,000 - ₹32,000 with growth opportunities.

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Retail Associate (TRA) who will be responsible for handling walk-in customers at the Cars24 yard, understanding their requirements, conducting basic vehicle inspections, and assisting customers in selling their cars through Cars24.

The ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge of cars, strong customer-handling and negotiation skills, and a valid driving license.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and assist walk-in customers at the Cars24 yard.

• Conduct basic inspection and evaluation of customer vehicles.

• Explain the vehicle inspection process and provide relevant information to customers.

• Pitch and convince customers to sell their cars through Cars24.

• Explain and sell the Car Health Report to customers.

• Build strong relationships with customers and ensure a smooth customer experience.

• Handle customer queries, objections, and concerns professionally.

• Negotiate with customers and work towards successful deal closure.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of vehicle sales.

• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle-related information in the system.

• Achieve assigned sales, conversion, and business targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Good technical knowledge of cars and basic automobile understanding.

• Strong communication and customer-handling skills.

• Good negotiation and convincing skills.

• Ability to pitch products/services and convert leads into successful transactions.

• Valid Driving License is mandatory.

• Comfortable working in a yard-based and customer-facing environment.

• Willingness to handle calling and follow-ups with customers.

• Prior experience in automobile sales, car inspection, vehicle evaluation, retail sales, or customer-facing roles will be preferred.
