Designation: EV Scooter Installation Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Jaipur

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

We are looking for a skilled, responsible, and technically oriented EV Scooter Installation Technician to handle the assembly, installation, wiring, testing, and basic troubleshooting of electric scooters. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that EV scooters are properly assembled, safely installed, tested, and delivered according to company quality standards.

Candidates with relevant experience in EV scooters, two-wheeler servicing, maintenance, or technical installation will be preferred. Freshers with relevant technical knowledge and a willingness to learn may also be considered

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assemble and install EV scooter components according to company guidelines and technical requirements.

• Install and connect battery, motor, controller, charger, wiring, lights, switches, display, horn, indicators, and other electrical components.

• Perform proper electrical wiring and ensure all connections are secure and correctly fitted.

• Install mechanical components such as brakes, wheels, suspension, body panels, and other scooter parts.

• Check battery installation and ensure proper connections and safety measures.

• Conduct pre-delivery inspection and functional testing of EV scooters.

• Test the scooter's electrical, mechanical, and safety systems after installation.

• Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical, wiring, battery, motor, and mechanical issues.

• Use appropriate tools and equipment for scooter assembly and installation.

• Ensure proper fitting, alignment, tightening, and finishing of all components.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company installation guidelines.

• Maintain proper quality standards during assembly and installation.

• Report defective components, technical issues, or installation problems to the supervisor.

• Coordinate with the service, technical, and production teams whenever required.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the installation/work area.

• Handle EV batteries and electrical components safely and responsibly.

• Complete assigned installation and service work within the required timeline.

• Maintain basic records of completed installations, repairs, and technical issues.

• Assist in resolving customer-related technical issues when required.

• Stay updated with basic EV technology, components, and installation practices.

• Perform regular maintenance and servicing of EV scooters to ensure smooth and safe operation.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic to good knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

• Understanding of EV scooter components and their functions.

• Knowledge of electrical wiring, connections, and basic troubleshooting.

• Ability to use basic hand tools and electrical testing equipment.

• Basic knowledge of batteries, motors, controllers, chargers, and wiring systems.

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to understand technical instructions and installation procedures.

• Good attention to detail and quality awareness.

• Ability to identify electrical and mechanical faults.

• Good coordination and teamwork skills.

• Strong sense of responsibility and safety.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Physically fit and comfortable performing technical/installation work.

• Willingness to learn new EV technologies and technical processes.

• Punctual, disciplined, and professional attitude.

Educational Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Automobile, Mechanical, Electronics, or related technical field is preferred.

• Candidates with relevant practical experience may also be considered.

Experience

• Fresher: Candidates with relevant technical knowledge and willingness to learn can apply.

• Experienced: 1–2 years of experience in EV, automobile, electrical, two-wheeler servicing, or installation will be preferred.
