Electronics Technician

Role Summary

We are looking for an Electromechanical Technician to support Drilling Services Manufacturing activities. The role involves wiring, assembly, soldering, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electro-mechanical MWD/LWD drilling tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical wiring, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical drilling tools and components.

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical procedures.

• Perform soldering and electro-mechanical assembly as per work instructions.

• Use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, meggers, Hi-Pot testers, and Wee Tech.

• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

• Perform quality checks according to manufacturing, engineering, ISO, and internal standards.

• Work with AC/DC electrical circuits, mechanical assemblies, fluid power systems, and precision measuring equipment.

• Identify technical problems and support troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

• Maintain accurate assembly records, system updates, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electromechanical wiring, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical circuits.

• Knowledge of fluid power systems is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with soldering, electrical testing, wiring, and mechanical assembly.

• Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring equipment.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Good English communication skills.

• It is a Full Time Technician job for candidates with 2 - 6 years of experience.
