Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead – STB Repair to oversee set-top box (STB) repair operations, diagnose faults, manage production activities, and ensure high-quality technical performance. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with STB hardware, circuit analysis, and repair tools.---Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the STB repair and rework team.Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to SMPS, tuners, HDMI, AV, and power circuits.Perform soldering, BGA rework, and component-level repair.Analyze root causes (RCA) and develop corrective action plans.Oversee firmware loading, testing, and STB software validation.Ensure smooth production and repair workflow.Maintain repair logs, daily reports, and technical documentation.Coordinate with management and clients for technical updates.Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards.---Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of STB hardware architecture.Excellent understanding of electronics circuits.Hands-on expertise with soldering and diagnostic equipment.Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.Good communication and team-management skills.
