Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Engineer

1. EXPERIENCE IN THE COMMERCIAL KITCHEN EQUIPMENT INDUSTRY IS MANDATORY. CANDIDATES WITHOUT RELEVANT COMMERCIAL KITCHEN EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE SHOULD NOT APPLY.

2. WANG Professionals is looking for an experienced COMMERCIAL KITCHEN EQUIPMENT SERVICE ENGINEER / TECHNICIAN / HoReCa EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN in Kolkata.

3. The candidate should have hands-on experience in the installation, repair, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of commercial kitchen equipment, such as:

• Dishwashers
• Combi Ovens and Commercial Ovens
• Bakery Ovens
• Fryers and Cooking Equipment
• Commercial Refrigeration Equipment
• Coffee Machines
• Food Preparation Equipment
• Electrical and Electronic Equipment
• Other Commercial Kitchen Equipment

• Candidates with additional knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems will be preferred.

4. JOB LOCATION AND NATURE OF WORK:

This is a field-service position based in Kolkata. WANG Professionals does not have a fixed office in Kolkata. Candidates residing in Topsia, Tangra, Park Circus, Kasba, Howrah, Salt Lake, Dum Dum, Garia, Madhyamgram and other nearby Kolkata locations may apply. The selected engineer will attend installation, breakdown, repair and preventive-maintenance calls at customer sites across Kolkata and nearby areas.

5. SALARY:

₹30,000–₹40,000 per month in hand, depending on the candidate’s experience, technical knowledge and current salary.

6. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, commission, repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment.

• Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical and refrigeration-related faults.

• Attend equipment breakdown calls and resolve technical problems at customer sites.

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of equipment.

• Read equipment manuals, wiring diagrams and repair instructions.

• Coordinate with customers, service coordinators and technical experts whenever required.

• Maintain service records, work-order details and visit reports.

• Ensure the timely and satisfactory completion of service calls.

• Follow all applicable health and safety procedures while working at customer sites.

7. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in servicing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.

• Previous experience in the COMMERCIAL KITCHEN EQUIPMENT INDUSTRY IS MANDATORY.

• Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Refrigeration or a related technical field.

• Ability to independently diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical and refrigeration-based commercial kitchen equipment.

• Good troubleshooting, customer-handling and communication skills.

• Willingness to perform field-service work and travel to customer sites across Ahmedabad.
