Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation & Configuration: Mount, wire, and configure CCTV cameras (IP, Analog, PTZ, Thermal) and Network Video Recorders (NVR) / Digital Video Recorders (DVR).

  • Network Setup: Configure IP addresses, routers, switches, subnets, and firewalls for local and remote video streaming and cloud storage.

  • System Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance, firmware updates, hardware cleaning, and lens calibration.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve signal loss, camera power issues, network dropouts, storage failures, and software glitches.

  • Access Control & Integration: Integrate CCTV systems with access control, burglar alarms, and central monitoring stations where required.

  • Client & Site Assessment: Conduct site surveys to map camera placement, calculate coverage angles, and determine cabling routes (Cat6, Fiber Optic, Coaxial).
