CCTV Technician

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV surveillance systems.

• Installation and troubleshooting of Access Control Systems, Boom Barriers, and Flap Barriers.

• Structured cabling for CCTV, networking, fiber optic, and electrical systems.

• Installation and configuration of server-based Video Management Systems (VMS).

• Configuration of IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, access control software, and related security systems.

• Networking setup, including IP addressing, switches, routers, and basic network troubleshooting.

• Preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis of surveillance and ELV systems.

• Preparation of service reports and coordination with clients during project

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CCTV and ELV systems.

• Hands-on experience with Access Control, Boom Barrier, Flap Barrier, and Networking.

• Good knowledge of computer hardware, Windows OS, and software configuration.

• Experience in configuring CCTV software, Access Control software, and Server-based VMS.

• Sound knowledge of electrical wiring, structured cabling, and troubleshooting.

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and IP camera configuration.

• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

• Knowledge of Fiber Optic Cable (OFC) splicing and testing is an added advantage.

• Experience in industrial, commercial, or corporate project execution
