Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and certified Yoga Instructor to lead engaging yoga classes, inspire healthy lifestyles, and support students in achieving their wellness goals. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy, alignment, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices while creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and lead yoga classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced practitioners.
Demonstrate yoga postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation practices.
Assess participants' fitness levels and provide modifications when required.
Ensure proper alignment and safe execution of poses.
Develop structured class sequences based on student needs and class objectives.
Provide verbal cues, corrections, and guidance during sessions.
Create a positive, welcoming, and motivating environment.
Educate students on yoga philosophy, mindfulness, and healthy lifestyle practices.
Monitor student progress and offer personalized recommendations.
Maintain attendance records and assist with studio activities, workshops, and events when needed.
Required Qualifications:
Certification in Yoga Teacher Training (Minimum 200 Hours YTT).
Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) preferred.
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and injury prevention.
Knowledge of various yoga styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative, or Therapeutic Yoga.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and engage diverse groups of students.
Preferred Experience:
0–3 years of teaching experience in a yoga studio, wellness center, fitness club, or online platform.
Experience conducting group and private sessions.
Additional certifications in Yoga Therapy, Prenatal Yoga, Kids Yoga, or Meditation are a plus.
