Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Chess Tutor to teach students (ranging from beginners to intermediate) in both individual and group settings. The ideal candidate will foster a love for the game, develop analytical skills, and create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver engaging chess curricula covering openings, tactics, middlegame strategies, and endgame techniques.
Instruction: Conduct live, online, or in-person sessions for students ranging in age from children to adults.
Game Analysis: Review student games, providing feedback to help them improve their analytical thinking and critical decision-making.
Mentorship: Motivate students, build confidence, and promote good sportsmanship.
Progress Monitoring: Assess student performance and maintain regular communication with parents regarding progress.
Optional: Organize internal chess tournaments, puzzles, and mini-games to enhance engagement.
