Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support day-to-day classroom operations at Crescent Feat. The role involves assisting in phonics-based learning sessions, managing classroom organisation, and supporting young learners aged 4+ in a structured and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher during classroom sessions and activities
Prepare and organise teaching materials, worksheets, and classroom resources
Support in setting up and maintaining an engaging classroom environment
Manage student attendance and maintain accurate records
Organise and track children’s classwork, worksheets, and learning progress
Assist children individually when required to ensure better understanding
Communicate basic updates to parents when required (under guidance)
Ensure classroom materials and supplies are well managed and stocked
Support during assessments, activities, and special classroom tasks

Requirements

Good command of spoken and written English
Comfortable working in the evening shift
Enjoy working with children aged 4 years and above
Patient, responsible, and organised
Basic understanding of early childhood education (preferred, not mandatory)
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Warm and friendly personality with children
Creative approach towards classroom activities
Willingness to learn phonics-based teaching methods (paid raining will be provided)
Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
