The Prayas India is an established education and test-preparation organization offering structured learning programs across UPSC, Government Exams, and Entrance Exam Preparation.

As part of our next phase of expansion, we are launching a new vertical — AI Proficiency — focused on helping students and working professionals develop practical, industry-relevant proficiency in Generative AI, AI tools, automation, productivity, and emerging AI technologies.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and academically strong AI Program Lead / AI Trainer who can take ownership of this vertical from the ground up.

Role Overview

This is a 0-to-1 role with end-to-end ownership of the AI Proficiency vertical.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and building the AI Proficiency curriculum

• Developing certification programs and learning pathways

• Creating assessments, assignments, quizzes and practical evaluations

• Designing live projects and industry-oriented capstone projects

• Delivering engaging live training sessions

• Building course content, learning resources and project frameworks

• Staying updated with rapidly evolving AI tools and technologies

• Working closely with the Marketing team to drive awareness, enquiries and enrolments

• Supporting webinars, workshops, seminars and demo sessions

• Gathering learner feedback and continuously improving the program

• Helping establish The Prayas India as a credible provider of practical AI education

The ideal candidate should be comfortable functioning as trainer + curriculum designer + program manager + subject-matter expert + business stakeholder.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build the AI Proficiency Vertical – 0 to 1

• Take end-to-end ownership of setting up the new AI Proficiency vertical.

• Conduct market and learner research to identify high-demand AI skills and use cases.

• Define the target learner segments, course structure and learning pathways.

• Develop the academic roadmap for the vertical.

• Recommend new courses, workshops, certifications and advanced programs.

• Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and incorporate relevant developments into the curriculum.

2. Curriculum Development

Design comprehensive, industry-relevant curriculum covering areas such as:

• Generative AI fundamentals

• Prompt Engineering

• AI productivity tools

• ChatGPT and other leading AI assistants

• AI-powered research and knowledge work

• AI for content creation

• AI for presentations and documentation

• AI for data analysis

• AI automation and workflows

• No-code / low-code AI applications

• AI agents and emerging AI workflows

• Responsible and ethical use of AI

• Role-specific applications of AI

• Advanced AI productivity workflows

The candidate should be able to translate complex AI concepts into practical, beginner-friendly and outcome-oriented learning experiences.

3. Certification & Assessment Design

Own the assessment framework for the AI Proficiency programs, including:

• Quizzes and knowledge assessments

• Practical assignments

• Case studies

• Tool-based assessments

• Prompt engineering challenges

• Real-world problem-solving exercises

• Project-based evaluations

• Capstone projects

• Certification criteria and grading frameworks

Assessments should measure actual application of AI skills, rather than only theoretical knowledge.

4. Live Projects

Design and implement practical projects that learners can showcase as part of their portfolios.

Examples could include:

• AI-powered business workflows

• AI-assisted marketing campaigns

• Automated research systems

• AI-powered data analysis

• Content generation workflows

• AI productivity systems

• Custom AI assistants

• AI-powered presentations and reports

• No-code AI automation projects

• Industry-specific AI use cases

The objective is to ensure that learners finish the program with demonstrable, portfolio-ready AI projects.

5. Training & Delivery

• Conduct high-quality live classes, workshops and bootcamps.

• Demonstrate AI tools through hands-on sessions.

• Simplify complex concepts for learners from diverse educational and professional backgrounds.

• Conduct doubt-solving and mentoring sessions.

• Monitor learner engagement and learning outcomes.

• Continuously improve teaching methodologies based on learner feedback.

6. Content Development

Create and maintain:

• Lecture presentations

• Course notes

• Practical guides

• Assignments

• Tutorials

• Demonstration videos

• AI tool guides

• Case studies

• Project briefs

• Assessment material

• Certification material

The candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to create clear, structured and engaging educational content.

7. Marketing & Business Collaboration

The role will work closely with the Marketing and Business Development teams to drive adoption of the new vertical.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the marketing team in developing the AI Proficiency value proposition.

• Providing inputs for social media campaigns and advertisements.

• Developing topics for webinars and workshops.

• Conducting free AI awareness sessions and masterclasses.

• Participating in lead-generation activities.

• Supporting demo classes and counselling sessions.

• Creating content ideas for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and other platforms.

• Identifying industry trends and topics that can generate learner interest.

• Providing inputs on learner personas and course positioning.

• Analysing feedback, enquiries and enrolment trends to improve the offering.

The candidate should understand that academic quality and learner acquisition are interconnected and should be comfortable working with commercial and marketing stakeholders.

• Strong practical knowledge of Generative AI and modern AI tools.

• Hands-on experience with tools such as ChatGPT and comparable AI platforms.

• Ability to design curriculum from scratch.
