Trainer – Guest Service Associate

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver training for the Guest Service Associate course as per Hospitality Sector Skill Council (THSC)/NSDC guidelines.

• Train students in hospitality operations, front office management, housekeeping coordination, and guest handling.

• Conduct sessions on communication skills, grooming standards, customer service, etiquette, and personality development.

• Provide practical training on hotel reception procedures, guest check-in/check-out, reservation handling, and complaint resolution.

• Train candidates in workplace behavior, teamwork, and professional ethics required in the hospitality industry.

• Organize mock drills, role plays, and practical demonstrations for real-time hospitality scenarios.

• Prepare lesson plans, study materials, practical assignments, and assessment activities.

• Monitor trainee attendance, discipline, performance, and progress.

• Maintain batch records, assessment reports, attendance sheets, and training documentation.

• Coordinate with assessment agencies, placement teams, and hospitality employers.

• Support students for internships, industrial visits, and placement opportunities in hotels, restaurants, and hospitality organizations.

• Ensure training quality standards and compliance with NSDC/THSC norms.

• Assist in student counseling, mobilization, and orientation activities when required.

• Conduct soft skill and spoken English sessions to improve employability.

• Maintain a positive and professional classroom environment.

• Take part in Mobilization with Team on need basis

Preferred Qualification

• Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality

• Experience in hotel operations, front office, or hospitality training preferred

• ToT (Training of Trainers) certification will be an added advantage.

  The location will be based out of Odisha -Bhavanipatna & Siruli (Puri). Outstation candidates will be provided with Fooding and Lodging.

• It is a Full Time Teacher / Tutor job for candidates with 5 - 6+ years Experience.
