Special Educator – Autism Support

We are looking for a Special Educator to join our team at Little Wonders Homeo Autism Centre to provide individualized educational and developmental support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role involves planning learning activities, supporting communication and behavioral development, and working closely with parents and the centre's team. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹8,000 – ₹18,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group educational support to children with autism.

• Develop and implement individualized learning and developmental activities.

• Support children in improving communication, social, cognitive, and daily living skills.

• Use appropriate special education techniques and structured learning methods.

• Observe and document children's progress and maintain regular progress reports.

• Assist children with classroom activities, sensory activities, and behavioral development.

• Communicate with parents regarding the child's progress, challenges, and learning activities.

• Coordinate with therapists, psychologists, and other professionals involved in the child's development.

• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

• Follow the centre's guidelines and maintain confidentiality of child and family information.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Graduate with B.Ed. Special Education / Bachelor's Degree in Special Education / relevant Master's qualification.

• 2–6+ years of experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities.

• Practical knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and special education techniques.

• Experience in developing individualized learning activities and tracking developmental progress.

• Good communication, patience, empathy, and child-handling skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with parents, therapists, and other professionals.

• Experience with behavioral support, sensory activities, and communication-development techniques will be an added advantage.

• It is a Full Time Teacher / Tutor job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
